New Mazda Grassroots Racing Facebook Group

Mazda Motorsports’ Facebook page has a new Group – Mazda Grassroots Racing.

Over the years, we’ve shared many inspiring stories of our grassroots racers through Mazda Motorsports’ Facebook page. Whether it was posts about the 2015 SCCA Runoffs Spec Miata battle under the lights on a drying Daytona International Speedway that saw green flag racing the entire way, and Jonathan Goring emerge victorious over fellow top 5 finishers Andrew Carbonell, Alex Balanos, Todd Buras (the 2019 Runoffs Champ), and Chris Haldeman (the story now lives here), or when we shared stories about Dave Wheeler and Ann O’Malley being goofy at the track, regardless of whether their team was winning (which they did, and the Advanced Autosports’ team still does a lot), we’ve been fortunate to share many great stories.

At times, we have discussed parts spotlights and shared technical support (though, our main channel for this is 800.435.2508). We’ve been fortunate to capture many amazing photos of our racers and shared on our Facebook page. It has been a platform where we can support our racers in myriad ways.

As our overall program has grown, including the support, we have found that creating a new Group within our Facebook page would better help us continue the support of our grassroots racers and those interested in joining our sport. The new Mazda Grassroots Racing group allows us to solely focus all of club racing content specific to Facebook in one area, which is designated only for grassroots content.

While we will still share some grassroots content on the main Mazda Motorsports Facebook page, we encourage you to join the Mazda Grassroots Racing group to ensure you get all the content from our team, and engage with us on any of the topics.

We’ve also added many action photos from the 2019 SCCA Runoffs at VIRginia International Raceway.
