Recognition for competitors that embody Mazda core values.

Each month, the Mazda community will recognize one Mazda competitor that embodies our seven core values. The Mazda “competitor” can be a racer, a crew member, a family member, or anyone else that supports our wonderful sport. By working together, we can achieve our goals and dreams.

The Spirit of Mazda encompasses seven major traits that all lead to working together in the same direction:

Integrity

Basics and Flawless Execution – Make steady efforts in a step-by-step fashion

Continuous Kaizen – Continue improving with wisdom and ingenuity

Challenger Spirit – Set high goals and challenging to achieve them

Self-Initiative

Tomoiku – Learn and teach each other for mutual growth and success

One Mazda – We work as one unit

For the month of March, we started this initiative by having our competition parts team nominate the first winner and be announced in Tuesday’s weekly eNewsletter.

Starting with April’s Spirit of Mazda, our Mazda Team Members will be able to submit their nomination and a description of why he or she should be selected.
