Spec MX-5 Challenge Series presented by Toyo Tires kicks off its 22 event (44 race) regular season at Utah Motorsports Campus March 26-28. This event is hosted by NASA Utah. Drivers will compete in the SMX class and may run in ST5 (in another run group for double-dipping). Spec MX-5 drivers may accrue points toward Regional, Continental, Invitational or Team championships and carryover points for the National Championship in November. Spec MX-5 Challenge Series is known for its parity (tight, fair competition), big prizes, and more. It’s club racing done right. Starting in 2021, Mazda and all the series partners are working together to make THE Driver Development Series.
