In order to make ordering all the parts you need for a particular job easy to find, and to ensure that you don’t forget a key piece, Mazda Motorsports sells popular parts bundled together for convenience.
“We do that because it can be difficult to go through the whole parts catalog to find all the little hoses you’re going to replace,” says Josh Smith, Mazda Motorsports technical specialist at Mazda North American Operations.”
For one example, the heater hoses aren’t found on the same page as the radiator hoses. “Nor are the small individual hoses that go to the throttle body,” Smith adds.
The parts kits include Miata water hose kits, Miata timing belt kit, control arm bushing kits, clutch kits for Miata and RX-7 and brake pad hardware kits for Miata and RX-7.
The control arm bushing kits contain all the control arm bushings necessary for a car and come in both stock kits and a kit with 40-percent stiffer material. Clutch kits include everything one needs to replace the clutch, including disc alignment tool. The brake hardware kits include the springs and clips that sometimes get lost or damaged.
