May 24, 2018 – Webster, NY – BERG Racing announces a limited 2018 Pirelli World Challenge Championships effort for Touring Car rounds at Lime Rock Park and Watkins Glen International.
Team owner and driver John Weisberg looks forward to contesting classic venues with the familiar REDCOM Mazdas.
“We’re excited we could put together a partial TC program this season,” said Weisberg. “I’ll be entering the #51 REDCOM Laboratories, Inc. Mazda MX-5 at Lime Rock Park, while my wife, Dinah, will join me at the World Challenge season finale at Watkins Glen on Labor Day weekend.”
Coming off of a fast weekend at Pittsburgh International Race Complex, John Weisberg expects a similar weekend at Lime Rock Park.
“We always hope to do well at Lime Rock,” said Weisberg. “The tight, flowing nature of the track usually seems to suit our Mazdas, so we’re excited to see how we get on this year.”
