Lemons of Love’s Mazda MX-5 Cup Car Giveaway concluded on March 17 at Sebring International Raceway when John Doonan, director of Mazda Motorsports, pulled the winning ticket.

“I woke up to this news today, and I could hardly believe it. I am beside myself right now,” are the first words Lemons of Love received from winner of the Mazda MX-5 Cup Car, Daniel Miller.

Daniel has been serving in the United States Air Force for over 12 years, and is currently stationed overseas. Daniel told Lemons of Love that he felt moved by the Lemons of Love mission because his mother is a cancer survivor. Daniel stated, “I love what your charity does, and I will continue to donate for years to come.” Lemons of Love is thrilled that the Mazda MX-5 Cup car went to someone as special and deserving as Daniel Miller.

“Our charity is honored to have this race car go to a service member of our country,” says founder of Lemons of Love, Jill Swanson Peltier. “This year’s giveaway surpassed our expectations and has been an amazing fundraiser for us. We are grateful for the help of the companies, media and individuals who have taken the time to share the fundraiser and help us spread the word.”
