Mazda Motorsports Announces MRT24 Shootout Eligible Racers
Who will be following Matt Cresci? Mazda has confirmed the 18 eligible racers for the 12th annual Mazda Road to 24 Shootout. This post-season shootout will award a $100,000 Mazda Motorsports scholarship to compete in the 2018 Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich® Tires. The shootout will take place December 8, 2017 at the Bondurant Racing School in Chandler, Arizona.
Mazda MX-5 Cup Challenge Announces Worldwide Stream
For one fortunate racer, it will take just 90 minutes to earn $75,000, or more, this Saturday at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca as Mazda stages the Mazda MX-5 Cup Challenge. Both 45-minute races will be live streamed on Saturday, October 14. Race one will be at 12:40 pm, while the second race will start at 5:00 pm. Both are Pacific time zone.

It’s no longer $75,000 to win at the 2017 Mazda MX-5 Cup Challenge. Racers now have another 10,000 reasons to enter. MX-5 Cup partners PAGID Racing and BFGoodrich® Tires are each sponsoring $5,000 prizes, so the winner could now pick up a total of $85,000.

2017 Mazda MX-5 Cup Challenge Announced
Second Annual Mazda MX-5 Cup Post-Season Event Offers $75,000 to Win, $110,000 Total Prize Pool. The two-race, total points event will be hosted at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on October 12-15.
