Mazda Motorsports boast the most comprehensive development ladder system of any auto manufacturer in the world for both closed wheel/sports cars (Mazda Road to 24) and open wheel (Mazda Road to Indy). Both ladders offer a series of scholarships to advance drivers up their respective racing ladders, starting at the grassroots road racing level.

 

 

On any given weekend, there are more Mazdas on the road-race tracks of America than any other brand of vehicle. At the track, you’ll see MX-5 Miata, RX-8, MAZDA3, MAZDA6, RX-7, RX-8, and other vintage Mazda models competing, because every Mazda has the Soul of a Sports Car. In fact, the fastest growing road-racing class in the U.S. is the SCCA’s Spec Miata class, with over 2,500 first- and second-generation Miatas tearing up America’s racetracks, making it the most-raced production car in the world. Mazda’s involvement in motorsports extends to its relationship with Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, one of the world’s premier road-racing circuits, and the Skip Barber Schools for driving and racing.

Mazda Racing Support: Mazda supports anyone who’s racing his or her Mazda in any sanctioned racing event in the U.S. or Canada. Mazda supports all types of racing, whether Road Racing, Rally, Drag, Off-Road or Autocross, as long as your event is sanctioned by a real racing organization and provides some kind of published racing results. You need to be a member of the Mazda Motorsports’ Team Support Program to purchase parts or receive support.

Online Parts Store: Through our online parts store, our members have access to both stock parts and competition parts at heavy discounts. They can check parts availability; look up technical information; and place orders. Non-members have this same access, except for stock parts.

Contingency Awards: Our Team Support Program also offers a comprehensive contingency awards program for certain types and levels of motorsports.

Technical Support: Our Motorsports Specialists are able to provide our racers technical support for their vehicles – current and  previous models.
