Time trial and track day events, such as Sports Car Club of America’s (SCCA’s) Track Night in America and Sports Car Driving Association (SCDA), are great avenues to get on a real race track using your own car. Normally, the driver is required to wear a helmet, and in some cases, must have a driving coach in the passenger seat; the car MUST pass a basic safety inspection. Avid track day drivers may come with a spare set of tires, but as long as your fluids are topped up, and your brakes are in good shape, this is where you can confidently explore the true performance of your Mazda.
Time trial and track day drivers are encouraged to join the Mazda Team Support program. While there are no Mazda Contingency Awards for these events, Mazda Support Program members can still enjoy many of the benefits, including:
- Ability to buy Mazda-approved Stock and Competition parts at special discounted rates
- Access to Mazda Motorsports technical experts, who assist our racers (aka competitors) in building and maintaining their Mazda race car
- Fast and affordable deliveries from our distribution centers throughout the country. We will help get you what you want, where you want it (e.g., we can ship parts to the race track for Saturday delivery)
