FAQs – Parts Ordering

Am I able to place a parts order if I am not a Mazda Team Support member?

  • You are able to only place orders for competition parts; you will not be able to take advantage of the savings and selection we offer for stock parts unless you need to have been issued a Mazda Team Support number.

Can I order parts or accessories for my Mazda street vehicle?

  • No, unless the street driven vehicle is also used in sanctioned off-highway race events, such as Solo or autocross events. The Mazda Team Support Program is restricted to parts purchases for registered Mazda race vehicles, with current race results on file.

How do I add part numbers to the shopping cart?

  • While looking in the stock parts catalog, click the shopping cart icon next to quantity box to add a part number to shopping cart.
  • To enter part numbers, click the Quick Order box (all part numbers must be entered in XXXX-XX-XXXX format). Some part numbers (with first digit of 9) are listed on parts diagrams for hardware components using the following format: 9XXXX-XXXX. These part numbers must be rearranged, when entered in shopping cart, using the 9XXX-XX-XXXX format.
  • To enter multiple part numbers, click “Enter More Items” in the “Quick Order” box. This will provide 60 lines to enter part numbers.
  • Competition part numbers must be added to the shopping cart using the Quick Order box. All competition parts are designated by a “@” in the 1st digit of the description.
  • To add multiple part numbers, click “Enter More Items” link in the Quick Order box – you will be provided with 60 lines to enter part numbers

How do I determine if a part is available and the current price?

  • Once part numbers have been entered in the shopping cart, click the Check Availability button at the bottom of screen to display most current part number, pricing and availability

When viewing a component on a parts diagram in the online stock parts catalog, a 5-digit number (XX-XXX) is visible next a component, with a line to the drawing of the part. Is this the part number?

  • No, this number is called the D-code. This number is used as a reference to find the actual part number in the text below. Locate the D-code in the text, then order the part using the part number shown next to D-code.

When viewing part numbers in the online stock (OE) Mazda parts catalog listing, more than 1 part number is listed for a particular item. How do I determine the correct part number to order?

  • If no production date (year/month), color, or other component difference is displayed for the part, the parts catalog will sometimes list more than one part number. When this occurs, the part numbers shown have been superseded and only one number is typically available. A letter at the end of the part number is the only difference (XXXX-XX-XXXA). To determine the correct part number, click the shopping cart icon, or enter the part number in the Quick Order box (shopping cart). Click the Check Availability button in the shopping cart. The most current part number is displayed in a separate section called Parts Availability Inquiry, with availability and pricing information.

A message is displayed at the top of my Shopping Cart stating the “Online Order Function for Your Account Has Been Blocked” and I can’t complete my parts order. Why?

  • Your online parts order functionality will be blocked for the following reasons:
    • You have less than 1 current (from the past 12 months) race result on file
    • Your current status is “Building a Race Car”; you have submitted a membership card and race car photo (or only 1 current race result has been submitted, so far)
    • You are a shop owner
    • You reside in Canada
  • When you are ready to complete your parts order, please call us and we will help you in getting processed.

How do I return a part?

  • All parts returns require a return authorization number. Please contact us with the part number and sales order number (#01-XXXXXX) from the original packing slip so we can process your return. Parts must be returned in their original packaging and must be in good, resalable condition to be accepted for return. Returned parts are subject to a 15% restocking charge.

I received an incorrect or damaged part. How do I get a replacement part?

  • For incorrect parts, please call and provide the original sales order number from the packing slip and the part number you originally requested. We will arrange to get a replacement part shipped and send a UPS shipping label so you can return the incorrect part.
  • Damaged parts claims must be filed with Mazda within 72 hours following receipt of the order. If you see any damage to the shipping box or packaging, be sure to note this information when you sign for the package. We may also request that you provide us with photos of the damaged part and/or packaging, so be sure not to destroy or discard any packaging you receive.
